First Snowfall

We woke up this morning to the first snowfall of 2013! It wasn’t much, but it was enough to make it look pretty as it perched on the branches outside of my bedroom window.

By the way, when you’re using an old 50mm lens that was made for film cameras and you have nothing electronic to rely on and have to get your settings right in the camera, you save lots of time in editing because these are SOOC!

This was a bit later as the sun warmed the snow and turned them into glistening waterdroplets that I just had to turn into bokeh.
