Texture Tuesday – Hyacinth

My mom’s favorite flower is the hyacinth, so this time of year, our house is full of them. They were the perfect subject for today’s texture. I used Kim Klassen’s “shine” texture– twice. First I used it on Multiply, then I flattened, and converted the picture to black and white, and then I applied the same texture again, but this time on Screen (about 75%).

  1. Nice job! Every time I play with textures I am not happy with the result. Will keep trying. Have to find the right photograph matched with the right texture and the right % of cover. Trish does a great job too.

  2. Beautiful. And very sticking in Black and White.
