Hudson River Tour – Binghamton Ferry

A few months ago, Phriend had mentioned taking a trip up to northern NJ to photograph an abandoned ferry that had been dry docked for years, then abandoned, and finally, back in October, Sandy got the better of it. It is sitting in the Hudson River getting more and more decayed as the days go on. The site of the ferry was stop number two on our “Hudson River Tour”

I love going out to take pictures with Phriend. No one else would have the patience to wait while I took a 6 frame bracket for this picture– I was on f/36, but I wanted to make sure that everything was in focus, so I took 3 bracketed pictures with the focus on the rocks and then 3 bracketed pictures with the focus on the boat so I know everything was in focus.
